Swaffham couldn't raise a team to face our mighty squad of 20, so this week we set up "skills zones" and did a kind of circuit training. This gave the team the opportunity to learn some important new skills, like rucking and clearing the ball away, setting up a scrum and passing at pace, as well as some general fitness exercises. Whilst we are not going to benefit from a match prior to the Prima Cup in two weeks' time, hopefully we will be well prepared by all this training under the watchful eyes of our wonderful coaching team.
We started a little earlier this week so that we could all settle into the bar in good time to watch England comprehensively beat Tonga in the World Cup! A great day in the sunshine for us all.
