Diss Under 10’s travelled to West Norfolk last Sunday and made sure they played with 100% commitment, tough tackling and inspired running flair.
The highly drilled team of 8 players lost a very close match to Holt (2-1) in the opening match, while in the 2nd match they took Wymondham to a nail biting finish, just missing out on the win. They then completed the festival with two great wins against Norwich and Holt, ending the festival on a fun-filled high.
A Diss RFC Under 10's spokesman stated “I’m so proud of the boys who took part in the festival. Thomas played only his 3rd match, but made such an impact, while Johnny played with his natural flair and instinct, which was a delight to see. Daniel and Charlie also had a fantastic festival, which means the future for Diss is looking bright this season”.
