After 3 recent defeats against very strong opposition, Diss Under 13's were fully focused on achieving a win against a talented West Norfolk side. Early tries by Diss captain, Ben, and a characteristic storming run by Alex ensured early nerves were settled in the Diss squad. With rolling replacements being fielded by both teams, every player got an opportunity to shine for Diss and West Norfolk, ending 5-0 victory in a well played and good spirited match. Coach Sion Davies stated "The team have really dug deep this season and today the results of their hard work bore fruit. Good rucking led to ideal ball for distribution to the backs, which opened up try scoring opportunities. We now face Newmarket which will be another stern test for the team."
