Diss U15's put in a much improved performance against the best side in the county. North Walsham scored the first three tries all of which were well crafted but not scored without them having to battle for possession from a hard working Diss pack. Shortly before half time the Diss forwards got their reward for the increased work rate when they drove to within 10 metres of the Walsham line before the ball was passed out to Ben Waters at 10 to score. This meant a 5 - 19 half time score.
Walsham scored shortly after the break but Diss almost immediately responded with a series of pick and drive moves from the forwards which resulted in Ben Faulkner making an impressive charge to the line to score. Both sides made changes and whilst the final score line was 10 - 43 Diss continued competing as a team and were pleased with the progress made.
